TRAIN
The new Kraków Airport train station is located near the passenger terminal, at the rear of the multi-storey car park. Traveling by train is the fastest way to get from the airport to the city center (the journey takes about 18 minutes). Trains are equipped with air conditioning, power outlets, Wi-Fi and ticket machines. All trains also have spaces for disabled passengers and persons with reduced mobility (PRM).

ARRIVING BY TRAINThe Main Railway Station (Dworzec Główny) is conveniently situated in the very center of the city. There is a good train connection between Warszawa and Kraków (express or InterCity trains go every hour during day, journey lasts less than 3hr). Taxi stand you will find outside of the main entrance as well as at the top floor car park.

ARRIVING BY CARKraków is located 300 km south of Warsaw. The A4 motorway, via Wroclaw and Katowice, leads to Krakow from Western Europe. The speed limit in Poland is generally 50km/hr in cities, 90km/hr outside urban areas, 120km/hr on dual carriageways and 140km/hr on motorways. All cars must have their headlights switched on at all times and carry a red warning triangle, first aid kit, replacement bulbs, a national identity sticker and proper registration and insurance documents.
Traffic restriction zones (P1 - P6) are obligatory in the city from Monday till Friday, 10.00 am - 8.00 pm. The conference venue is located in the P1 parking zone. It is necessary to pay parking fees within paid zones. Parking cars in these zones without payment of parking fees is prohibited, except in the case of vehicles belonging to persons or organizations granted free access and parking public transportation vehicles in the designated area. Parking is permitted only in designed areas. Absolute priority is given to pedestrians and the maximum driving speed should not exceed 20km/h. We strongly suggest leaving your car on the hotel parking and use public transportation or walk.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATIONCollegium Medicum (12 sw. Anny Street, Krakow) has very good bus and tram connections. There are a lot of stops located c.a. 1-minute walk from the venue.

Most foreign currencies can be easily exchanged either in banks or in private exchange offices (“kantor”). Foreign currency (cash) is not acceptable in most shops.

The common opening hours are 10.00 am – 7.00 pm Monday to Friday.
On Saturdays stores are mostly closed at 2 pm and are closed on Sundays except for some small shops (eg. "Żabka").
